If you like a bit of peace and quiet on the train, National Express East Anglia have a number of trains with Quiet Carriages on its services.
On our mainline InterCity line from Norwich to London (and vice versa London to Norwich) offers a Quiet Zone to give customers who wish to travel without excess noise, the opportunity to sit in a quiet carriage away from noise such as mobile phones and audio devices.
The Quiet Zone is normally in Coach B standard class and in Coach H first class.
Customers travelling in the Quiet Zone should observe the following rules:
No making or receiving mobile phone calls in this carriage. Please go to the vestibule at the end of the carriage to talk on your phone.
Use all electrical equipment in silent mode.
If chatting with fellow passengers, please do so quietly and with consideration for others.
