The PPM figures are a 4 weekly measure of all scheduled trains that have called at all their booked stations and arrived at final destination within 5 minutes of scheduled time (within 10 minutes for our Intercity services).
The PPM combines figures for punctuality and reliability into a single performance measure. The PPM is therefore the percentage of trains ‘on time’ compared to the total number of trains planned.
